Recently, Lakers player Brownie James was interviewed by ESPN and talked about his health issues.

Two years ago, Brownie suffered a cardiac arrest due to congenital heart defects, and the subsequent surgery left a 6-inch (about 15 cm) scar in the center of her chest.

In response to this, Brownie said: "I'm more likely to get sick now. It's a little weird, but I think it might have had some impact on my immune system. So, sometimes I have to miss the game, and the physical fitness I've worked hard to get lost in the week I was absent."
