Tatum: I will fight for a complete health and come back. I want the kids to know that dad hasn t given up

Recently, Celtic forward Tatum accepted an exclusive interview with People Magazine to review his Achilles tendon when it ruptured.

Tatum said he was trying his best to return to the court - he said it was possible to return before the end of the new season: "I am doing my best to get back as soon as possible. No one forced me to come back at some point, but I did not rule out the possibility of not playing this season. The most important thing is to recover completely and make sure to return to the court at 100% without any hidden dangers. I am only 27 years old and have a lot of basketball career waiting for me, so I won't rush to achieve it."

He also emphasized that he hopes to set an example for children to work hard: "If I say 'This is too difficult, I want to give up', what kind of outlook on life will it pass to children?" He said, "As a parent, I want my children to be proud of me, and I want them to see how fathers overcome difficulties. I hope the children know that dads have not given up."
