Carragher: This Barcelona team is inexperienced and I’m not sure they can win the Champions League with their current defense

Former England international Carragher talked about Barcelona this season when he participated in the commentary. Carragher expressed concerns about Barcelona's defense.

"Barcelona was eliminated in the Champions League semi-finals last season essentially due to lack of experience, and maybe also because there are too many young players in the team. Looking at the four defenders (Conde, Kubasi, Garcia and Balde) who played this time, I am not sure this defense can win the Champions League."

"The problem is not just the use of high-speed players. The defensive line - that in itself is causing problems for them. Whenever you watch them play, you always feel that the opponent has a chance. It's not just a matter of their tactical setup. When facing the real top teams like Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, I am not sure whether these defenders are good enough."
