De Jong: If I could score the second goal in the first half, I don t think the Polish team will counterattack
The Netherlands drew 1-1 with Poland in the World Cup, and Barcelona and Dutch midfielder De Jong was interviewed after the game.
He said: "We did have a few chances in the first half, and if we could score a second goal, the game would be easier, and I don't think Poland will fight back again."
"However, our performance in the second half did not meet expectations."
