Estewan: I hope to compete with Yamal for the Golden Ball Award in the future I think my style is more like Messi

A few days ago, Estewan, who is about to join Chelsea this summer, was interviewed by The Ass.

Who is your idol?

"My idol has always been my parents. When it comes to sports, it is Neymar."

Why is Palmeiras' youth training so outstanding?

"Because of the management that Sampayo does and the way he works with the players. We always maintain the highest level and always compete for the championships in all the events we participate in."

Wouldn't you be excited to think that it is possible to play in Europe?

"Yes, but I think it's normal because I'm so close to taking this step. I'm so happy to be able to realize my dream."

What are the Europa Leagues that you paid the most attention to over the years?

"There is no doubt the Premier League and La Liga."

Which Brazilian player's career in Europe impressed you the most?

"What impressed me the most was Neymar. I have seen him play in Barcelona and he is incredible. However, I have also seen more images of Ronaldinho playing in Barcelona and Milan on the Internet video. He has done incredible things."

Is Vinicius a role model for those young Brazilian players who have landed in Europe?

"Yes, but not just Vinicius, Rafinia and Rodrigo are also our role models, because they have achieved everything in Europe."

Enderick has not shined at Real Madrid yet, will this put pressure on your debut in Europe? After all, talent has never been enough, and Rodrigo did not explode at the beginning.

"I don't think it will affect me because it depends on the club, the city, the league I will play for, and most importantly the characteristics of each player. When I arrive in Europe, I will try to adapt as soon as possible to play."

Have you ever imagined going to play against Chelsea in the Club World Cup? Coincidentally, this will be your next home.

"Of course I imagined that this is a great team, and every player's dream is to be able to participate in such a game."

What about against Real Madrid?

"No doubt!"

Ancelotti has conveyed confidence to you since you were selected for the Brazilian team. Do you think Brazil can win the 2026 World Cup?

"Yes, of course. He gave me great confidence since our first day of conversation. I learned a lot from him during those weeks." What was the first few days with Ancelotti? Did he give you any special advice?

"Those days were great because of the weight he represented and all the players he had coached. It was an incredible experience, and I learned a lot with him."

What do you think of Spain?

"This is a great country, although I have not been there in person."

What do you think of Yamal?

"He is an amazing young man, a great player, and he has an incredible season. I watched closely his performance in the Champions League, and I am really cheering for him and Rafinia (laughs). "

What about Mastantono?

"He is also a great player who has grown very quickly. I also followed his game because he played in South America. He has amazing potential."

Will we see the competition between you, Yamal and Mastantono for the Golden Globes in the future?

"Honestly, I hope so. The three of us are of the same age and it would be incredible and very interesting to meet in that situation."

Have you ever imagined winning the Golden Globes by yourself?

"This is my second biggest dream, second only to winning the World Cup with the Brazilian national team."

Will you say which player your game style looks the most?

"I think my style is more like Messi, a person who just wants to play football and have a family, which is the most important thing to me."

Will we see you in La Liga in the future?

"Yes, of course. It's a huge league with great teams and players. It would be great to have a chance to play in Spain one day in the future, but now I'm only focusing on Chelsea and the game against them for Palmeiras before that."
