Atlanta official wrote: "After diagnostic examination, Mitchell Barker ruptured the ACL in his right knee during training Thursday, July 24."

"The player will undergo arthroscopic treatment by Professor Ezio Adriyani at the Agostino Gemel University General Hospital in Rome on Monday, July 28."
