Pierce: I choose MJ&Kobe&Wade&AI among the top 4 points in history. Harden’s playoff performance was slightly worse.

Former Celtics star Pierce and retired NBA player Danny Green discussed Harden's legendary career in a podcast called "No Fouls Given and Playmaker."

They analyzed Harden's 55+7 performance against Charlotte - his 25th time in the NBA where he scored more than 50 points in a single game. Danny Green and Pierce both spoke highly of Harden. Pierce even joked that he did not have so many 50-point games in his career. However, when choosing "President Hill" and selecting the four best shooting guards in NBA history, Harden was not selected. Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade were unanimously selected as the top three, and Green said Harden could be ranked fourth, while Pierce denied it.

Pierce said: "I didn't pick him, I picked Iverson."

Danny Green said: "He chose Iverson because of his influence in the playoffs. Iverson has a greater influence in the playoffs."

Pierce nodded in agreement, but he also admitted that Harden is a very good player with incredible statistics.

Iverson averaged 29.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 6 assists per game during his career playoffs; Harden averaged 22.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game.
