Hornets sent Misic to the Bucks, getting Connaughton and two future second-round picks (2031 and 2032).

Leaving the Bucks for seven seasons, Connaughton also lamented this experience on social media:

7 years ago... The Bucks gave me a chance. At that time, I was a second-round pick who had just been cut and was persuaded to go back to play baseball. In the past seven years, many of the best moments in my life have happened on and off the court.

Words cannot express what these years meant to me, and photos cannot capture all the moments. But it doesn't matter, because this is not a farewell, but "there will be a period of time later." Thank you to everyone who has helped me over the past 7 years: teammates, coaches, bosses, management, staff, mentors, partners, volunteers, and every Bucks fan.
