De Sky: Dortmund home fans can consume 60,000 to 62,500 liters of beer per game

According to De Sky, in a stadium documentary, Dortmund’s head of catering and logistics departments revealed the amount of beer consumed by fans in a game.

Dortmund’s home court can accommodate 81,365 spectators, and almost every home game will be full. Half a liter of beer costs 4.90 euros, and a sausage costs 3.50 euros.

More than 1,000 catering staff ensure that fans can consume 60,000 to 62,500 liters of beer during each game. That's a huge number, considering that many of the 81,365 spectators don't drink because they drive, are too young, or don't drink at all.
