Pasalic: I am happy to play to help Croatia and aim to achieve good results in the World Cup

In the ninth round of the World Cup preliminaries on Friday night, Croatia defeated the Faroe Islands 3-1, thus securing qualification for the World Cup main draw one round in advance. In an interview with UEFA's official website after the game, Croatian midfielder Pasalic praised the team's performance and looked forward to the goals in the World Cup.

Pasalic said: "The game was not easy. We conceded a goal early, which was really unfortunate. But we responded well and the most important thing is that we won. Every time I play and whenever I can help the team, I am always happy. The most important thing is to look forward and aim to achieve a good result in the World Cup."
